S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera: The Five Hidden Filters
The S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera MkII has three filters you can see: Sketch, Black and White, and Death. Patch 7.3.5 quietly added five more, plus a Background Filter button to cycle them, and the game never lists them. Each one unlocks when you take a selfie with a particular raid boss.

Get the camera
- Light Camera Action from Arielle Snapflash in Stormwind (61.2, 22.8) or Vivica Starshot in Orgrimmar (34.6, 70.8). Bring a Standard Scope, a Russet Belt and the Iron Box from a Weathered Supply Crate in your city. The reward is the basic camera.
- Crystal Clarity from the same NPC: kill the Crystal Spine Matriarch on Yojamba Isle in Stranglethorn (12.0, 30.6) for a crystal shard. The Lens Upgrade Kit turns the camera into the MkII toy.

The five hidden filters
| Filter | Boss | Raid |
|---|---|---|
| Argus | Argus the Unmaker | Antorus, the Burning Throne |
| Firelands | Ragnaros | Firelands |
| Frostmourne | The Lich King | Icecrown Citadel |
| Sha | Sha of Fear | Terrace of Endless Spring |
| Twilight | Cho'gall | The Bastion of Twilight |
- A yellow message in the middle of the screen confirms the unlock; sometimes it only shows after a
/reload. - The boss has to be in the frame. Argus attacks you if you walk up to him, so take the shot during the fight.
- The Lich King no longer needs combat: walk up the stairs and take the picture.
- For the Sha of Fear, stand close and let his speech finish. A selfie with Cho'gall's body after the kill still counts.
Since the Shadowlands pre-patch your character no longer pulls faces in selfie mode. Players have reported it as a bug for years, and it's still not fixed.
