Nelthara: the Augmentation Evoker's Whelp

By ·Updated ·Fact-checked

Patch 10.1.5 gave evokers a third specialization, Augmentation, and a short story to go with it. At the end of that story is a black whelpling that soaked up some of Adamanthia's Ebon Might.

Type: battle pet · Added: patch 10.1.5 · Who: max-level dracthyr evokers · Players: solo

How to get it

  1. On a max-level evoker, switch to the Augmentation specialization in Valdrakken and walk up the steps of the Seat of the Aspects to pick up the breadcrumb quest Our Destiny.
  2. Follow it to the Forbidden Reach and complete the next quest there.
  3. Finish Augmenting a Dragon, in which you help Ebyssian subdue Adamanthia. Nelthara is the reward.
Adamanthia, the source of Nelthara's power.

Only evokers can do the questline, so only an evoker can earn the pet; it then joins your account-wide pet journal.
