Wetlands Farm
Hidden in the mountains between the Ironforge airport and the Wetlands lies a surprisingly large stretch of land: finished fields and buildings, a road with signposts, farmers who give directions to Ironforge, and a tunnel that ends in the open sky.
What explorers found
The only way in was a long detour: up to the gnomish airstrip in Dun Morogh, then over the cliffs towards the Wetlands. At the end of it a road appeared with signs reading That Way and The Other Way. The fields were tended by identical NPCs named Dwarvish Farmer, watched by a few Ironforge guards, and every farmer answered questions with directions to places in Ironforge, exactly like the guards in the city. Beyond the farm lay a wide, empty area and a tunnel meant to lead to Dun Morogh, which simply stopped in mid-air.

What happened to it
The farm never became part of any quest or zone. It is still in the game, out of bounds, and WoW Classic explorers still visit it. WoW Forever adds a new Wetlands dungeon, the Excavation Site, tied to the Explorers' League; nothing announced so far connects it to this valley.

I found a tunnel that is supposed to lead to Dun Morogh but just ends in the sky. At the end there is nothing at all, only sky and clouds and nothing to stand on. I didn't dare step out.
