Elwynn Falls
Fly from Stormwind to Ironforge and you pass a set of waterfalls in the hills above the city. Most players only ever see them from the gryphon. Those who climbed up found a small camp, a lonely house that cannot be reached, and a school of fish that never goes away.
The camp by the lake
By the lake below the falls stands a little camp: a tent, a raft pulled up on the shore and an empty bottle. Next to it a school of fish swirls in the water and never despawns. One explorer with maximum fishing skill tried it and pulled out nothing but Peacebloom, an herb. Above the lake a lonely house sits where no player can reach it.
The Nat Pagle rumour
Players soon connected the camp to Nat Pagle, the famous fisherman, and through his story to the legendary Ashbringer. Was this the camp of his last fishing trip, and was the house his? Nothing in the game ever confirmed it, and the falls never became part of a quest. In WoW Classic the hills above Stormwind are exactly as they were, and explorers still make the climb.
