Mesmerizing Fruit Hat: The Hidden Conga Line

The Mesmerizing Fruit Hat was sold by a vendor in the Warlords of Draenor beta and then vanished at launch. A year later, patch 6.2.3 quietly put a pile of fruit under a building in Pandaria, and players found it in December 2015. Wear the hat and you dance; do it in your garrison and the guards line up behind you in a conga line.

Where to find it

Fly to the Imperial Granary in the Valley of the Four Winds (52.0, 63.8). The Mysterious Fruit Pile is tucked underneath the granary's structure. Click it and the hat is yours.

What it does

  • Using it puts the fruit bowl on your head for an hour and makes you dance, even on a mount.
  • In your Draenor garrison, nearby guards and workers start following you in a conga line.
  • It is a usable item, not a toy and not a transmog appearance, so it never shows up in your collections. Keep it in your bags: you may not be able to loot it again on that character.
  • Hearthing, taking a portal or flying removes the hat.
