Marmaduke: the Lost Dog of Siren Isle

Marmaduke has been waiting at a dig site on Siren Isle for someone who is never coming back. Learn his owner's story from a journal in a sealed vault, bring him the toy he remembers, and he will go home with you.

Before you start

You need to have done the quest The Radiant Vault first. The pet's own quest only appears after the island's weekly world quest Special Assignment: Storm's a Brewin, so plan for at least one storm week.

Step 1: The Tattered Journal

At The Sacred Hollow (around 44.6, 22.8), click the Singing Tablet to enter The Forgotten Vault. At the very end of the vault lies the Tattered Journal, which starts the quest of the same name. Follow the chain through A Group Effort to Laid to Rest At Last.

Step 2: the Well Loved Squeaky Toy

After turning in Laid to Rest At Last, go back to Salt and Shanty and look on the second floor (around 39.3, 54.3) for a Well Loved Squeaky Toy.

Step 3: Marmaduke

Take the toy to Marmaduke at Ghoststone Diggings. He recognises you as a friend and heads off to camp. Talk to him there to start the final quest, Homeward Bound to Safer Shores, and he joins your collection.
