Gurgl: The Hidden Murloc Pet Quest in Dalaran

Patch 9.1.5 quietly added a pet detective story to old Legion Dalaran. Breanni of the Magical Menagerie suspects that pets are being stolen, and the trail leads to the Violetsail pirates and a baby murloc called Gurgl. There's no achievement or collection hint; most players find it by accident.

The quest chain

1. Pets Detective: talk to Breanni in Legion Dalaran and follow Fiona the cat to catch the spies.
2. Pet Up: fly to the Eye of Azshara zone (outdoors, not the dungeon) and wake Zantini (73.2, 74.8).
3. The Coast is Clear: steer Zantini's turtle Speedy IV to ten pet supplies. Keep him away from the crocolisks. Since patch 12.0 he tends to wander off, so clear the enemies first and then guide him.
4. Paw Patrol: kill Violetsail pirates on the west coast for keys and open the pet cages.
5. Gurgl and the Bandit: beat Trainer Iris Greedsway in a pet battle (31.8, 58.0). Her pets match your pets' level, so even level 1 pets work. Click Gurgl behind her and bring him back to Breanni.

You can only learn one Gurgl, so there's no point in repeating the chain on an alt.
