Step 1: the Sour Apple

At the southern end of the Obsidian Bulwark in the Waking Shores (around 43.7, 71.7), loot a Sour Apple at the feet of a Blacktalon Pack Goat.

Step 2: the Blacktalon Shadowclaw

In the camp to the north (around 43.2, 67.2), throw the apple at the Blacktalon Shadowclaw, then interact with it to ride it. It flies you to a cave entrance above the camp.

Step 3: the key and the cache

Just inside the cave lies a dead Blacktalon Assassin with the Lost Cache Key next to him. Take it, then go through the cave past the basilisks and up the ramp at the back. Open the Lost Obsidian Cache (around 44.6, 70.1) for the toy.
