Secret Druid Forms: The Hidden Barber Shop Unlocks

Since Shadowlands every druid form lives in the barber shop, but some options only appear after an unlock the game never mentions: a daily roll in the Emerald Dreamway, a conversation in Stormwind, six vials of moonwell water or a fish you have to throw back. These are the secret, rare and forgotten ones, and how to get each in October 2026.

Legion hidden artifact forms

Two Legion hidden artifact appearances replace a form rather than a weapon, and both still work. Each needs the matching artifact weapon; the full steps are in our hidden artifact appearances guide.

• Moonspirit cat (Feather of the Moonspirit): an owl-cat from three hidden stones in Duskwood, Feralas and the Hinterlands, revealed by a daily roll in the Emerald Dreamway, then /sit in front of Ela'Lothen. A player reported finishing it on 3 October 2026.
• Guardian of the Glade bear (Mark of the Glade Guardian): a rare drop from Ursoc in the Emerald Nightmare. Use it in Guardian spec, in Bear Form, with the Claws of Ursoc equipped.
• Archdruid's Lunarwing: the forgotten Legion flight form from the end of the druid class hall story, "You Can't Take the Sky from Me". It can carry a passenger.

The Mage Tower cat and bear (Ghost of the Pridemother, Might of the Grizzlemaw) are gone for good. The fel werebear from the Timewalking Mage Tower is still available: beat The Highlord's Return as Guardian during a Legion Timewalking week.

Nightwing Raven

A black raven flight form from patch 9.1.5. In Stormwind, talk to Celestine of the Harvest (57.4, 24.8) during the day, while she is in human form; at night she is a worgen and has nothing to say. Only Alliance druids can unlock it, and it works on any race.

The Emerald Dream puzzles

Patch 10.2 hid several form unlocks in the Emerald Dream zone, and all of them still work:

• Moon-Blessed Dreamsaber (cat): take the Small Box of Vials in the Eye of Ysera (54.9, 25.5) and fill a vial at six moonwells: Duskwood, Moonglade, Terokkar Forest, Dragonblight, Shadowmoon Valley on Draenor and the Dreamgrove. Combine them into Coalesced Moonlight and use it at the Feral Dreamstone (41.8, 67.0).
• Dreaming Nae'dra (aquatic form): inside the Amirdrassil raid, fish ten Slumbering Moonfish and ten Awakening Sunfish and throw all twenty back into the acorn-shaped pool. With the Attuned Angler buff, fish up Xena, the Whimsical Whiskerfish, and let her go.
• Slumbering Somnowl (flight form): cast Hibernate on five Somnowls (54.6, 77.0) to collect their feathers, then add Silken Thread and a Runed Writhebark.
• Silent Mark forms: buy a Silent Mark from Thaelishar Groveheart (60.2, 17.0) and channel it on eleven of the matching creature for the Evergreen Dreamsaber, Loamy Umbraclaw, Lush Dreamstag or Thriving Dreamtalon.
• Rare drops: about a 2% chance each from Emerald Dream rares, such as the Mark of the Umbramane and the Mark of the Keen-Eyed Dreamsaber, plus the Hibernating Runebear from the world boss Aurostor.

Fire forms

• Druid of the Flame cat: Majordomo Staghelm in the Firelands drops Fandral's Flamescythe or the toy Fandral's Seed Pouch; either one unlocks the fiery cat in the barber shop. The model was updated in 10.2.5.
• Fire Moonkin: the Feather of the Smoke Red Moon from Tindral Sageswift in Amirdrassil unlocks the fire-feathered Moonkin options. The drop chance is well under 1%, so it's a long farm.

Glyphs worth knowing

• Glyph of Stars turns Moonkin Form into a starry, see-through copy of your own character. Since Dragonflight any spec that takes Moonkin Form can use it.
• Chameleon glyphs give a random look each time you shift: Ursol (bear), Feral (cat), Swift (travel), Aquatic, Aerial (flight) and Lunar (Moonkin). All are made by scribes.

Gone and new

The fel Scornwing flight form from Legion Remix ended with the event in January 2026. Midnight's new forms belong to the Haranir: druids of that allied race get their own bear, cat, travel, aquatic, flight, Moonkin and treant looks after the Harandar campaign unlocks the race. No other secret druid form has turned up in Midnight so far.
