Blackened Defias Armor: The Secret Rogue Quest
The Defias Leather set from the original Deadmines lost most of its drops when the dungeon was rebuilt in Cataclysm. In Legion, Blizzard hid a way back: a ghost pirate on a ledge in the Deadmines who only shows himself to an Outlaw rogue with the right parrot, and who pays for 100 bandanas with Ensemble: Blackened Defias Armor, all five pieces at once.

| Use: Collect the Blackened Defias Armor appearances. Requires Level 13 |
What you need
- A rogue in Outlaw spec.
- The Green Wing Macaw battle pet. Buy a Parrot Cage on the Auction House or farm it from Defias Pirates in the Deadmines (about a 3% drop).
How to get it
- Enter The Deadmines on Normal (under Moonbrook in Westfall). The bandanas only drop on Normal.
- Go through to Ironclad Cove, the cave with the ship at the end.
- Find the Ghostly Parrot (36.5, 17.0 on the Ironclad Cove map) and summon the Green Wing Macaw right next to it. If the macaw was already out, dismiss it and summon it again.
- A Grappling Hook button appears. Use it to pull yourself up the wall.
- Take Deadmines: Sea'in Red from Captain Bramblebeard.
- Collect 100 Bloodied Defias Bandanas from Defias enemies. A full clear, including the parrots and the chained monkeys, usually gives all of them; if not, reset the dungeon and go again.
- Grapple back up, hand in the quest and use the ensemble.

Other ways to get the pieces
The ensemble is no longer the only source. The gloves and leggings still drop from the Defias Overseer in the modern Deadmines, and since patch 11.0.5 the Classic Timewalking version of the Deadmines drops the armor, belt and boots again. The quest is still the fastest way to get all five without waiting for a Timewalking week.
