Dark Ranger's Hood: 13 Roses for a Secret Hunter Helm

In Trueshot Lodge, the hunter order hall, Death Hunter Moorgoth is hopelessly in love with Dark Ranger Velonara. Nothing marks it as a quest, but if you play his messenger with the right number of roses, he ends up selling you the Dark Ranger's Hood, a mail helm in the style of Nathanos Blightcaller's hood.

How to get it

1. Go to Trueshot Lodge in Highmountain and talk to Death Hunter Moorgoth (52.0, 49.2). Click through all of his dialogue; afterwards he sells things.
2. Buy exactly 13 Black Roses from him. He says a dozen won't be enough, and he is right.
3. Find Dark Ranger Velonara, who walks around the main hall, and go through her dialogue. She takes the roses.
4. Go back to Moorgoth and hear how it went. For a moment he stops selling anything.
5. Talk to Velonara again. She now offers the quest Dark Memento.
6. Hand it in to Moorgoth. From now on he sells the Dark Ranger's Hood.

Good to know

• If Velonara won't talk to you, check your level (45 or higher) and make sure you've finished the opening quests of the hunter order hall.
• Only hunters can unlock the hood, but the appearance has no class restriction: shamans and evokers can wear it too once a hunter on the account has it.
• The hood was not part of Legion Remix; the normal route above is the only one.
