Felbound Wolf: Taming the Fel Wolves of Tanaan

The glowing green wolves of Tanaan Jungle are aberrations, not beasts, so Tame Beast does nothing on them. A hidden elite on the south coast carries the answer: a Vial of Fel Cleansing that turns one wolf tameable for a short while. The result is a fel-green wolf no other creature in the game looks like.

Added: patch 6.2.0 (Warlords of Draenor) · Type: hunter pet, wolf · Spec: any · Solo: yes

How to tame one

  1. Fly to Tanaan Jungle and kill Fel Rangari Anaara on the south coast, south of Fang'rila (54, 92). She drops the Vial of Fel Cleansing almost every time. She stealths and can calm your pet, so keep an eye on her.
  2. Go to the Temple of Sha'naar in the south-west, where the Felbound Wolves roam (31, 68 and 27, 75).
  3. Target an awake wolf and use the vial. The wolf stops fighting and can be tamed for a short time; cast Tame Beast straight away.

The vial stacks, so take a spare in case a tame fails.
