Aradan: Taming the Stormrook Spirit Beast
Aradan is a mourning stormrook, a blue gryphon crackling with lightning that circles above The Rookery dungeon. You can't attack him and you can't tame him, until you bring a hammer that lies forgotten on the sea floor of the Isle of Dorn.

Before you start
Spirit beasts can only be tamed in the Beast Mastery specialization, so switch before you begin.
Step 1: the Void-Scarred Stormhammer
Swim to the sea floor off the west coast of the Isle of Dorn, around 29.1, 36.2. The Void-Scarred Stormhammer lies among the rocks next to a stand of brown and green kelp. It doesn't glow, so it is easy to swim past; look carefully between the rocks. Without the hammer Aradan can't be attacked or tamed at all.
Step 2: The Rookery
Enter The Rookery on any difficulty, including follower dungeon mode, and defeat the first boss, Kyrioss. Aradan then appears and circles above the north side of the Rookery landing.
Step 3: bring him down
Target Aradan and use the Void-Scarred Stormhammer. He flies down to you, and you can tame him like any other beast.
