Hidden Quests in WoW Forever: Three You Won't Find by Accident
World of Warcraft: Forever has over a thousand new quests, and some of them have no exclamation mark. They start from an item on a lakebed, a drop in a cellar or a trade with a hidden NPC. Here are three that players have already solved in the beta.

Silver of the Waves (Loch Modan, Alliance)
- A Discarded Fishing Toolbox lies on the bottom of the lake in Loch Modan, around 45.6, 43.4. The spot can vary a little.
- Inside is a Monogrammed Silver Hair Clip engraved "K.D.".
- Bring it to Khara Deepwater, the fishing supplies vendor, at 39.5, 39.2.
Reward: Repurposed Hair Band (cloth wrists, +2 Intellect, +2 Spirit) and experience.

Whispering Horror Residue (Tirisfal Glades)
Under the ruined house in Shadowvale is a cellar entrance. Inside, the level 11 elite Whispering Horror drops the Whispering Horror Residue, which starts a quest. Bring it to Father Lankester in the War Quarter of Undercity for Undercity reputation. The same cellar holds more small quests: As Above So Below, That Shadowvale Green Elixir, The One That Got Away (a crystal to the left by the kegs) and Making Repairs.
Malignant Root (Wetlands, Alliance)
- Find the elite Nightveiled Rotheap that patrols the Wetlands. Kite it rather than fighting it in melee.
- Loot the Rotheap Innards.
- Trade them to Rethiel the Greenwarden at 56.2, 40.4.
Reward: Malignant Root, a ring with no level requirement: +7 Stamina, +8 Attack Power and +4 spell power. One per character. Rethiel is hostile to the Horde, so for now this is Alliance only.
