The Drunken Dwarf: WoW Forever's Secret Tavern

High above the tunnels of Dun Algaz, between Loch Modan and the Wetlands, World of Warcraft: Forever hides a whole tavern. There is no road to it and no quest that sends you there. The Drunken Dwarf has its own staff, its own menu and its own music, and a cellar door that stays locked.

Getting there

Follow the road through the Dun Algaz tunnels to the orc camp. Climb the mountain from there: you have to start climbing earlier than feels right, then drop down towards a tree. The tavern is at about 53.0, 79.6.

Inside

  • A rested area with a chef and a bartender, run by the owner, Agriel Firebrew. There is no innkeeper, so you can't set your hearthstone here.
  • Food you can't buy anywhere else, including kimchi, and a slow-fall ale. The ale is the easy way back down the mountain.
  • Its own music, a gryphon statue and a dog.

The cellar door

At the back is a cellar door that can't be clicked. Players expect it to open in a later build. An unannounced instance map called the Half-Pint Tavern was found in the game files and removed again after the 1 October build, but nothing connects it to this door yet.
