Wan'be's Buried Goods: a Ghost Tour of Azeroth

Hoarder Jena in Vol'dun sells a skull for 120 gold. Put it on the ground and the ghost of Wan'be the Explorer appears, chatting about the places he never got to see. Take him to all of them and he tells you where he buried his savings. It is exactly enough to pay for the skull.

Before you start

Buy the Ghostly Explorer's Skull from Hoarder Jena at the Vulpera Hideaway in Vol'dun. She sells it at Revered with the Voldunai. The skull has a five-minute cooldown, so don't summon Wan'be until you're at the right spot.

Step 1: sabers in the snow

Wan'be has never seen a saber in the snow. Take him to Frostsaber Rock in the far north of Winterspring, place the skull and talk to him. He decides he feels colder.

Step 2: the biggest reptile

He boasts that Zandalar has the biggest reptiles of all time. Prove him wrong at Zaladormu, the bronze dragon at the entrance of the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. Place the skull on the floor in front of the dragon, not on his platform.

Step 3: the flooded racetrack

Wan'be once wanted to build a racing ring in the desert, but his partner was afraid another cataclysm would put it under water. Show him that it already happened: the old raceway of Thousand Needles lies under the water below Fizzle and Pozzik's Speedbarge (around 78.8, 77.0). Summon him underwater for the right line.

Step 4: a house in a volcano

He once heard a Dark Iron dwarf claim he lived in a volcano. Place the skull inside Blackrock Mountain, on the Molten Span. Wan'be finds it cosy.

Step 5: the buried goods

Talk to him once more and he admits he owes you. His goods lie at the foot of a tower "just off the Rootway near the river in Nazmir". The tower actually stands on the Zuldazar side of the river, in the Rootway Collapse (around 63.6, 9.8 in Zuldazar). Loot Wan'be's Buried Goods for 120 gold, and Wan'be adds that it should be enough for a tip.
