The Pearl of the Abyss and the Mind-Seeker Title
Since Cataclysm, a strange pearl has sat at the bottom of the ocean far south of Vashj'ir, inside water that drains your fatigue bar. For years it did nothing. In the Midnight pre-patch it finally woke up: touch it and you are pulled into a hidden copy of the Seat of Knowledge, the meeting place of a secret society that calls itself the Cabal of the Mind-Seekers.

Getting ready
- Bring water breathing and an aquatic mount such as a Battle Turtle, an Ottuk, a seahorse or a tidestallion.
- Atomized Salien Slime, sold by Al'kubian in Azj-Kahet after a short questline, gives water breathing and raises your swim speed from 135% to 152%. It makes the dive noticeably easier.
Reaching the pearl
- Go to the Abyssal Depths in Vashj'ir and head for the southern end of the Abandoned Reef, in the south-west of the zone.
- Rise to the surface, mount up with steady flight and fly straight south until the fatigue bar appears. Back off until it disappears again: this is your safe spot.
- Land on the water, switch to your aquatic mount and dive straight down. Swimming perfectly vertically isn't possible, so make small corrections and back up a little whenever fatigue starts to run low.
- You will pass a giant skeleton on the sea floor. Keep going down until the water changes from grey to dark blue and the pearl comes into view, then swim straight to it.
- You don't click the pearl. Touching it teleports you to the secret room.
The secret Seat of Knowledge
The room looks like the Lorewalkers' Seat of Knowledge in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, but it is full of members of the Cabal and of purple holograms. Each hologram stands for a secret you have solved, from the Lucid Nightmare and the Hivemind to Uuna and the Xy Trustee's Gearglider, so the room is also a record of your own progress. There are 34 of them in total.

Joining the Cabal
Speak with Anakron. If you have solved at least 17 of the secrets on his list, he offers the option I am ready. After a short scene you receive the Mind-Seeker Feat of Strength and the Mind-Seeker title. Anakron is not new: players first met him in Legion Remix as the Hooded Supplier in the Infinite Bazaar.

Only secrets you solved yourself count. A pet bought on the Auction House, for example, doesn't light up its hologram, so check the room to see which ones are still missing. Once you have all 34, Anakron has a final word for you.
Not there yet? Jeremy Feasel in the same room can set your hearthstone here, so you can come back without making the dive again.

The secrets that count
Anakron's list includes, among others: Baa'l, Sinrunner Blanchy, the Bound Shadehound, Courage, the Enlightened Hearthstone, the Felreaver Deathcycle, Glimr, Jenafur, Incognitro, Kosumoth, the Lucid Nightmare, Mimiron's Jumpjets, the Nazjatar Blood Serpent, the Hand of Nilganihmaht, Otto, the Phoenix Wishwing, the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph, the Riddler's Mind-Worm, the Slime Serpent, the Wicker Pup, the Hivemind, Thrayir, Tobias, Uuna (including her whole world tour), the Waist of Time, Wan'be's Buried Goods and the Xy Trustee's Gearglider. Most of them have a full walkthrough on this site: start with the secrets index.
