Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle: Full Guide
The largest secret in WoW's history started during the 20th anniversary in late 2024: a missing gnome called Ratts, a hidden scenario under Karazhan and twelve pillars around a demonic motorcycle. Players solved the ninth pillar and won the bike on 12 December 2024. The last three pillars, added in 2026, were solved on 30 March 2026.

What you need before starting
- Perky Pug battle pet (from the Looking For Multitudes achievement) and a "Dogg-Saron" Costume (Vashti the Wandering Merchant) or "Yipp-Saron" Costume (Hallow's End) for it.
- Twitching Eyeball or All-Seeing Eyes toy, or the Gift of N'Zoth.
- Fledgling Warden Owl pet (Wardens at Revered, or the Auction House).
- Fishing at any skill level.
- The Torch of Pyrreth and the Detective title. How to get both is below.

The Torch of Pyrreth
- At the Roasted Ram inn in Valdrakken, take Securing an Artifact from Tithris.
- In the Life-Binder's Garden in the far north of the Waking Shores, use the Tricked-Out Thinking Cap to find three Ancient Levers: 57.0, 25.5; 57.7, 23.8; 56.6, 20.3.
- Once all three are pulled, take the torch from the fireplace inside the big inn-like building.
- Hand in Artifact Secured to Preservationist Kathos back at the Roasted Ram.
The Detective title: eleven celebration crates
The quickest way to Azeroth's Greatest Detective is to find eleven hidden crates and hand them to Alyx in Dornogal. Your character needs to be at least level 30.
1. The Dive Bar, Zuldazar (54.2, 54.2)
Under Dazar'alor, buy a Clam Digger from Nikto and give it to Gerald, the conch on the upper floor.

2. Die to See (Duskwood, 54.0, 58.1)
This crate is only visible to ghosts, so you have to die first.

3. Karazhan Crypts
Deep in the crypts. Follow these points: entrance 39.8, 73.1; down the spiral tunnel at 33.5, 70.7; swim across at 30.2, 81.3; the crate is at 22.4, 83.7.

4. Dig! (Thousand Needles)
In the flooded dig site by the Shimmering Flats (64.9, 84.4), swim into the silithid cave behind the ruins and take the Water-Resistant Receipt. Then find Vashti the Wandering Merchant on the eastern road of Azsuna, who now sells you the Sandy Celebration Crate.

5. The worg cave, Grizzly Hills (29.4, 6.4)

6. Tanaris coast (69.2, 68.6)
On the upper floor of the larger of two sunken gnomish buildings.

7. Mount Hyjal (13.6, 33.5)
Under the trampoline from the old bear-cub-tossing daily quest.

8. Ashenvale and Feralas
Drink the blue potion at the top of Thunder Peak in Ashenvale (47.9, 38.4) for the 30-minute Potion of Truth, then fly yourself to the Dire Maul entrance corridors in Feralas (60.4, 35.4). Any other way of travelling cancels the potion. The crate is only visible with the buff.

9. Oshu'gun, Nagrand (Draenor)
Enter at 35.9, 67.2. The Crystallized Celebration Crate sits in the middle room of the draenei-style section (35.3, 74.7).

10. Ahn'Qiraj and Stormheim
In the cave of the sleeping red dragon Andrestrasz on the south-west coast of Ahn'Qiraj: The Fallen Kingdom (40.7, 92.8), summon a dog pet such as the Perky Pug and it digs up the Mysterious Bones. Bury them at the warrior's grave on the cliff north-east of the crashed Skyfire in Stormheim (37.4, 47.6).

11. Maldraxxus (50.0, 73.8)
On the upper level of the Seat of the Primus, by the portal back inside.

Finding Ratts and the Peculiar Key
- With the Detective title showing, talk to the Dalaran Survivor in Dornogal (55.0, 28.9) for Ratts' Race.
- In Pillar-nest Vosh, Azj-Kahet, enter the cave at 55.0, 19.1 and take the right-hand path. Climb the rock wall behind Agaricus Festerbloom, count four holes from the left and jump into that one. Watch Ratts' scene, then pick up the Peculiar Gem.
- In Un'Goro Crater (44.6, 8.0), use the Torch of Pyrreth on a hollow stump to reveal the Inert Peculiar Key.
- Use the inert key to combine it with the gem into the Peculiar Key.
- In Deadwind Pass, use the torch at the Karazhan Catacombs entrance (46.7, 69.1) to open the way into Ratts' Revenge.

Some notes before the long part. Do the pillars in order. Many steps share credit with anyone nearby, so look around before you buy something expensive. Progress is saved even if you die or log out. You don't need to return to the progress room after each step.

1 o'clock: Love
With the torch active, collect three stacks of The Light of Their Love: at the Humble Monument behind Mankrik in the Northern Barrens (55.0, 40.2), at Decimator Olgra in Maldraxxus (27.3, 61.3), and at Olgra in Nagrand on Draenor (74.2, 37.5 or 49.2, 48.0 depending on your quest progress). If a stack doesn't land, log out and back in.
2 o'clock: Prayer
In the Battle for Azeroth phase of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms (talk to Zidormi to switch), find the N'Zoth
obelisk on the cliff above the Seat of Knowledge (83.8, 27.6). Summon the Perky Pug in its costume, use the Twitching
Eyeball or All-Seeing Eyes, target the obelisk and type /pray. The Key of Shadows can take
up to fifteen minutes to appear. It opens Door 430 and the room beside it in the catacombs.

3 o'clock: Hate
First buy at least five different "lucky" items: Lucky Horseshoe (Farrier Roscha, Ohn'ahran Plains), Lucky Tortollan Charm and Lucky Dragon's Claw (Griftah), Lucky Rat's Tooth, Lucky Charm and Lucky Shirt (Lenny "Fingers" McCoy, Stormwind), the Lucky Duck toy, or the Auction House.
Behind the Chamber Door, fish in the Astral Soup bowl for the Astral Key, open the Astral Chest and learn the Starry-Eyed Goggles. With the goggles on, hidden Decryption Consoles appear. Each correct code opens a chest with a Piece of Hate, and you need all nine. Keep them, they're needed later.
| Console | Code |
|---|---|
| "No Violence, Please" (entry stairs). The Thunderfury item ID | 19019 |
| "Here" in the south hall. Its own map coordinates | 5661 |
| "Here" in the south-west room. The catacombs' zone ID | 10638 |
| "Property of Elder Ko'nani". The Konami code on a numpad | 88224646 |
| Encrypted Puzzle Box, Room 430. A book in Guo-Lai Halls | 17112317 |
| Rubenstein's Safe. A juggling pattern | 52233 |
| Handwritten Note. Springshells, a dock, sorcerers, triggers, 'rels | 51567 |
| "Feeling Lucky?" slot machines, with five lucky items in your bags | 777 |
| "Hear", north-west of the felcycle room | 115 |
4 o'clock: Doom
Summon a doomguard inside Uther's Tomb in the Western Plaguelands (52.1, 83.2) with a Scroll of Fel Binding from Vashti, or ask a warlock for a Ritual of Doom. While it's alive, four pieces of hidden graffiti show on the floor. Read them.
5 o'clock: the Golden Muffin
Beat Jeremy "Muffinus" Feasel in a pet battle using only secret pets at level 25: for example Spyragos, Terky and an upgraded Wicker Pup. Find him at the Darkmoon Faire, or on the Timeless Isle: talk to Zarhym in the Cave of Lost Spirits to enter the spirit realm, don't loot anything, and find Jeremy at the back. He then offers Master of Secrets, which rewards the Golden Muffin. Take it and the nine Pieces of Hate to the Pointless Treasure Salesman inside the giant goblin statue at Booty Bay for the Relic of Crystal Connections.
6 o'clock: the altars of Zul'Gurub
At five altars in open-world Zul'Gurub (around 78, 45), each with a theme of Blood, Corruption, Lust, Sin or Void, stand with the torch pointed at the altar while matching mounts, pets, toys or transmog are out. Anyone nearby can supply the items, and everyone with a torch gets credit. When all five are satisfied, the Chest of Acquisitions appears at 78.2, 47.7 with the Ancient Shaman Blood.

7 o'clock: the Watchers
Take the Fledgling Warden Owl to the Isle of the Watchers in Azsuna and touch the active owl statues until it has all four colours (red, blue, green, purple) and a permanent white glow. Run the Vault of the Wardens, take Elune's Light from Cordana Felsong's platform back to the room before the first boss and loot the Sentry Statue that appears. Place it in Glazer's room and solve the 5 by 5 "lower every lens" puzzle to get the Warden's Mirror.

8 o'clock: the Enigma Machine
Put the Ancient Shaman Blood and the Warden's Mirror into the Enigma Machine (use the Relic of Crystal Connections on the purple Humming Crystal to get into its room). Press BEGIN once, then SUBMIT. Count every critter called "Rat" across the instance, not the Catacomb Rats, and kill them all so they don't stand on plates. The count tells you how many statues (or players) go on which pressure plate: x = (rats × lock number) mod 20, the plate is x mod 7, and the number of statues is x ÷ 7 rounded up. Submit, clear the plates and repeat for locks two and three. A wrong answer zaps you and resets to lock one.

9 o'clock: the bike
Go back to Ratts' cave in Azj-Kahet. The Starry-Eyed Goggles reveal a platform near the ceiling. Use the Relic of Crystal Connections on its crystal to teleport up, enter 84847078 on the console and open the chest: Keys to Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle, plus the Ratts' Revenge feat.
10 to 12 o'clock: the epilogue
Three more pillars arrived in March 2026. The tenth is lit by finding the Oddsight Focus, the eleventh by finishing the Radiant Song, and the twelfth by walking an Azuregale Bay dusk lily to Golk the Rumble. The reward is the Ensemble: Fashion of the Fanatic Felcyclist, which also counts for Mind-Seeker. Warcraft Wiki has the full details of these late steps.
Epilogue: the last three orbs (Midnight)
When the felcycle was won in December 2024, only nine of the twelve orbs in Ratts' lair were lit. The hunt picked up again in Midnight, and by 2026 all twelve were solved. None of these steps is needed for the mount itself; they reward a Feat of Strength and a transmog ensemble that matches the bike.
Orb 10: the Oddsight Focus
- Get a Bubblefilled Flounder. Die near the Hissing Grotto dive bar in the Waking Shores and look around it in ghost form for the Secret Fish, which can only be looted while dead (or while wearing the Aquatic Shades from the Otto secret). It respawns roughly every 45 seconds. The flounder is also sold on the Auction House.
- Feed it to Hek the Hungry Hornswog at the top of his cave in the Waking Shores. He spits out a Duck Egg.
- In Valdrakken, find the duck family south of the Artisan's Market, use Papa's Feather to hand over the egg, and take the Tuskarr Dinner Bell from the gift.
- On the Forbidden Reach, find To'no, a stealthed tuskarr who appears at one of several spots for a few minutes at a time. With the bell in your bags, talk to him and he gives you the Oddsight Focus. The tenth orb lights up.

Orb 11: the Radiant Singer
The eleventh orb needs a full 40-player raid at the Divine Flame of Beledar in Hallowfall. Everyone
needs the Gift of Oddsight buff from the Oddsight Focus (one player with the toy can buff the others). The raid then
sings the Great Song: 25 measures in which each player performs an assigned emote, such as sing, cheer, dance or
violin, while targeting the flame, and the leader closes each measure with /bow. A correct measure adds
7 Harmony out of 175; too many mistakes in one measure, or 15 in total, ends the song. The community addon Beledar
Orchestra Helper hands out the emotes. Success awards the Radiant Singer Feat of Strength. This
step is optional for the last orb.

Orb 12: the Dusk Lily
A poem pieced together from Uuna, the felcycle's engine, Anakron and parchments hidden around the Broken Isles points to a flower trapped in shadow. In a group, search the island in south-eastern Suramar with the Torch of Pyrreth for a hidden Web of Shadows that moves around quickly; an extra action button flashes up when you are right on top of it. Free the Dusk Lily and escort its carrier all the way to Golk the Rumble's cave in Azsuna. The carrier must not jump, attack, get hit or fall into water, so bring water walking, Path of Frost or Levitate, and let the rest of the group kill the Writhing Corruptions that keep spawning.
When the carrier hands the lily to Golk, everyone in the group receives a Spare Key and a Weathered Lockbox with the Ensemble: Fashion of the Fanatic Felcyclist. With the Gift of Oddsight and the Starry-Eyed Goggles active, a Hidden Footlocker appears in Ratts' lair; the Spare Key opens it and the twelfth orb lights up. Inside is a final page of Ratts' journal.

The new hologram for the ensemble also appears in the secret Seat of Knowledge: see the Mind-Seeker guide.
