Sinrunner Blanchy: Six Days of Horse Care

Dead Blanchy gallops along the river in Revendreth's Endmire, neglected and hungry. Look after her for six days and she'll let you ride again.

Catching Blanchy

She spawns in the Endmire (around 63.2, 43.0) roughly every one to two hours and runs along the river for about five minutes. Step into her path and she stops so you can interact. Several players can use the same spawn. You can only do one step per day, but the days don't have to be in a row, and progress is never lost. Gather everything in advance so each visit is quick.

The six days

1. 8 Handful of Oats: small sacks lying around Saldean's Farm in Westfall.
2. Grooming Brush: sold by Snickersnee in Darkhaven (63.3, 61.7).
3. 4 Sturdy Horseshoes: glinting Discarded Horseshoes along the roads around Darkhaven.
4. Bucket of Clean Water: pick up the Empty Water Bucket by the trough in Darkhaven, then use it while standing in water in Bastion or Ardenweald. Revendreth's water is too filthy.
5. Comfortable Saddle Blanket: from Ta'tru in the Night Market (51.0, 78.8). He barters for goods that change every week, so check what he wants.
6. 3 Dredhollow Apples: sold by Mims at the Hole in the Wall inn (40.8, 46.7).

After the apples, Blanchy finally trusts you and the final quest rewards Blanchy's Reins.

Getting ready before day one

Most players lose time waiting for Blanchy, not gathering. Collect everything you can in advance so that each visit takes a minute:

• The oats and horseshoes are free, just a little travel.
• The brush and the apples are bought from vendors in Revendreth, and you can buy both on day one.
• The blanket depends on what Ta'tru wants that week, so check him early. If his trade is hard, waiting a week for a new one is often quicker.
• The bucket has to be filled outside Revendreth. Fill it in Bastion or Ardenweald on the way back from other errands.

Finding her

Blanchy only stays for a few minutes, so the hardest part is being there when she spawns. Park at the Endmire river, keep your hearthstone ready for afterwards, and watch for her running along the water. Rare-tracking addons that announce nearby NPCs help a lot. Several players can feed her on the same spawn, so if you see others waiting at the river, she is probably due soon.
