Deepstar Polyp: Luring Hirukon in Zereth Mortis

A huge sea creature, Hirukon, sleeps in the Dimensional Falls of Zereth Mortis. Only a special lure will draw it out, and the only one who knows how to make it is Baroness Vashj, now living in Maldraxxus.

Step 1: Strange Goop

Fish in Hirukon's waters at the Dimensional Falls (around 51.9, 74.3) until you catch Strange Goop, or buy it on the Auction House. The drop chance is low.

Step 2: Baroness Vashj

Take the goop to Baroness Vashj in Maldraxxus (around 57.6, 91.9). She needs three ingredients:

• Pungent Blobfish: fish it from the Pungent Blobfish Cluster in Zangarmarsh, by the entrance to Coilfang Reservoir.
• Flipper Fish: fish it from the Flipper Fish School in Nazjatar. It slips out of your hands; click it on the ground to grab it.
• Coilclutch Vine: pick it up in the Ruins of Vashj'ir in the Shimmering Expanse.

Bring all three back and she gives you the Aurelid Lure.

Step 3: Hirukon

Gather a group and return to the Dimensional Falls. Use the lure, then fish from the Aurelid Cluster that appears to summon Hirukon. Defeat it. The player who used the lure always receives the Deepstar Polyp; everyone else has a small chance.
